Legendary Marketer (15-Day Challenge) – Review, Part 1

What is Legendary Marketer?

David Sharpe is a well-known internet marketer who owns three multimillion-dollar businesses. Controversially, he was involved in a multi-level marketing business.  During the course, he shares his personal journey which includes being a teenage father and drug addict. After ten years he turned his life around by getting involved in marketing and creating online businesses including affiliate marketing.  He saw a need for a digital marketing school which led to the creation of Legendary Marketer: 15-Day Business Builder Challenge.

For this review, I took the course in ‘real-time’ and completed this review after completing Days 1 to 6.  I was not an affiliate for this program whilst completing the course. This is an honest review and summary of the course so you can make an informed decision about taking the course.

What is the 15-Day Challenge?

Legendary Marketer is a online course titled “15-Day Online Business Builder Challenge“.  Every ‘day’ consists of a video and assignments.  There is a private Facebook group, a daily Wake Up Legendary show at 10am EST, and each student is assigned a Business Plan Advisor.  There are scheduled calls with the Business Plan Advisor during the course and some days can’t be ‘unlocked’ until the call takes place (see more information below). 

What Will You Learn and Experience during the Challenge?

The Lessons are organized by the day – Video to watch, Assignments to complete, and Reminder to schedule calls with your Business Plan Advisor.  For this review, I’m taking the course in ‘real-time’ and have completed Days 1 to 6.  

Day by Day Outline

 

Day 1 

  • Introduction to Online Businesses
  • Complete Questionnaire
  • Join Facebook Group
  • Schedule call with Business Advisor

Day 2

  • The Core 4 – Having the Correct Business Model
  • 3 Profit Activators
  • Benefits of Promoting E-learning Products

Day 3

  • Video demonstrating Setting up a Funnel and Autoresponder
  • Importance of Creating an E-mail List
  • 4 Pre-built Funnels

                         Day 4 is ‘unlocked’ after a call with                             your Business Plan Advisor.

Day 4

  • Video about how people are taught about money from an early age by modeling behavior. Discussion includes criticism that people aren’t taught about real-life personal finance in school or how to be entrepreneurs but to be ‘good employees’. 
  • Clarity Process Questionnaire about financial goals
  • Encouraged to read “Rich Dad, Poor Dad” by Robert Kiyosaki

Day 5

  • How to Develop a Business Plan
  • Business Plan Class – 2 hours (have to watch start to finish)
  • Free Downloads of sample Business Plan, Email Templates
  • 48 hours countdown to purchase the Business Blueprints

Day 6

  • FAQs to encourage people to purchase the Business Blueprints / start an online business. 
  • Testimonials

                        Day 7 is ‘unlocked’ after a call with                           your Business Plan Advisor.

Verdict So Far

Pros:                                                                                                                      1. Good for Beginners – step by step in relation to having an on-line                           business and business model for success.                                                         2. Focus on setting up an on-line business, not just affiliate marketing.               3.  Private Facebook Group                                                                                   4. Business Advisor (see below)                                                                           5. Course design forces you to take the lessons in order and complete the lessons (see below)

       6.  Free Downloads of Business Plan outlines, Email Scripts, and Pre-Built Funnels                                                       7.  The 15-Day Challenge continues after the first attempt to sell the Business Blueprints

Cons:                                                                                                                                                                                         1. Progress is dependent on calls with your Business Advisor. If the advisor is not available for a week, this may             cause some people to get discouraged and not finish all the lessons.                                                                              2. Business advisor is also a salesperson. The call after Day 6 when I declined the Business Blueprints offer                    was only 3 minutes.
